ABOUT ORBIT
Orbit is a software factory that specializes in creating tailored digital solutions to help businesses optimize their processes through technology and artificial intelligence.

They provide end-to-end software development services, focusing on building custom applications, automating workflows, and leveraging AI to improve efficiency and decision-making.
PROBLEM
Orbit faced significant challenges in both its UX and brand development. Their brand identity lacked depth, and their value proposition was solely presented through a basic explanation of their services rather than a well-developed, cohesive narrative.

This led to a poor brand representation, failing to differentiate Orbit from competitors, making it harder for the company to stand out in the crowded development space.
SOLUTION
In 2022, they hired me to improve their marketing and website holistically, allowing me to revitalize Orbit's brand by building a brand story around their logotype, using it as a key narrative element.

To bring this story to life, I designed two custom illustrations that embody the rocket-launch theme.

These were strategically created to serve as the website’s background, enhancing the visual identity while reinforcing the brand's narrative.

Illustrations as the basis for a new brand story

Given complete creative freedom and only a logotype to work with, I approached the redesign by doing what I’ve always done when studying—seeking references and inspiration.

I quickly gravitated toward a minimalistic style with plain colors, which was not only easy to recreate in vector format but also conveyed an elegant, artsy feel.

Giving a smile to technology

After the success of the initial illustrations and with a strong understanding of the company’s services, I felt confident to take creative liberties.

I introduced a friendlier tone in new illustrations that represented different types of software products, adding personality while still aligning with the brand.

Email marketing templates had their illustrations too

Emaili communications were also leveled-up using illustrations as engaging and creative headers for emails, adding a visually appealing and dynamic touch to communications
